With a “Snow Day at Phipps” theme, visitors will see lighted penguins, bears, reindeers, fir trees, props and so much more. In addition, the Winter Light Garden will be the best yet and will feature a new tunnel of lights designed to imitate a twinkling winter sky. Kennywood Holidays Lights
During the most wonderful time of the year, Kennywood, America’s finest traditional amusement park, is transformed into a Christmas display worth seeing. With nearly two million dazzling lights, the park is decorated and transformed into a magical wonderland. Visitors can come see the lights and enjoy hearing holiday songs by local choirs, see a spectacular light show, visit Santa, ride the Gingerbread Express and so much more! The Nutcracker by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre
The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without seeing The Nutcracker performed by the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. An iconic show seen throughout many theaters, The Nutcracker story captures the essence and awe of the night before Christmas when a mysterious gift begins an incredible adventure.
