Hastings Single-Family Floor Plan Description – Elevation A

The two-story Hastings home starts with 1,726 square feet of living space. The home features three bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, a two-car garage, and an unfinished basement.

Main Level Included Features

  • Foyer: The front entry opens from the covered porch into the foyer near the center front of the home. The foyer provides access to the flex space, powder room, staircase, and main living areas.
  • Flex Space – 9-feet-5-inches by 8-feet-10-inches: Located at the front left of the home, directly off the foyer. A window faces the front of the home. This flexible room can accommodate a home office, sitting area, playroom, or other uses.
  • Powder Room: Located off the central hallway between the foyer and great room. The powder room includes a toilet and pedestal sink.
  • Great Room – 14-feet-0-inches by 12-feet-5-inches: Located at the rear left of the main level. The great room is open to the adjoining nook and kitchen. Two windows are positioned along the rear wall.
  • Nook – 6-feet-8-inches by 12-feet-5-inches: Located between the great room and kitchen at the rear of the home. The nook is open to both spaces and includes a rear-facing window.
  • Kitchen – 10-feet-0-inches by 12-feet-5-inches: Located at the rear right of the main level. The kitchen is open to the nook and great room. Cabinetry and countertops extend along multiple walls. The layout includes a double-bowl sink, dishwasher, electric range, and space for a 36-inch refrigerator.
  • Laundry Room: Located along the right side of the home, beyond the kitchen. The laundry room includes designated spaces for a washer and electric dryer. A window is located along the right exterior wall. This room is accessed from the garage and a short hallway. On the right of that hallway is a large closet. An opening is to the left into the kitchen area.
  • Two-Car Garage – 19-feet-5-inches by 21-feet-7-inches: Located on the right side of the home. An interior doorway connects the garage area with the hallway near the kitchen and laundry room. The overhead garage door faces the front of the home.
  • Turned Staircase: Located near the center-left portion of the main level. The stairs feature a landing between sections and provide access to the second floor and basement.

Main Level Optional Features

  • Optional Morning Room - 12-feet-11-inches by 9-feet-7-inches: Extends from the rear of the nook and kitchen. The morning room creates additional dining and gathering space. Windows are located across the rear and right-side walls. On the left wall is a sliding glass door. The morning room includes a cathedral ceiling. The kitchen counter and sink area extend toward the morning room with this option.
  • Optional Fireplace: A fireplace can be added along the left exterior wall of the great room.
  • Optional Great Room Windows: Two flanking windows can be added along the left exterior wall of the great room.

Second Floor Included Features - no optional features are available

  • Owner's Bedroom – 14-feet-7-inches by 13-feet-2-inches: Located at the front right of the second floor. Two windows face the front of the home. The bedroom connects directly to the private owner's bath, which connects to the closet.
  • Owner's Bath: Located between the owner's bedroom and walk-in closet. The bath includes a tub and shower combination, toilet, and double-bowl vanity. The tub shower combination is located on the front wall with the double sink and toilet directly across.
  • Owner's Walk-In Closet: Located at the front left of the owner's suite. The closet is accessed through the owner's bath and includes hanging storage along the perimeter.
  • Bedroom 2 – 12-feet-2-inches by 10-feet-3-inches: Located at the rear left of the second floor. A window is centered along the rear exterior wall. The bedroom includes a closet along the interior wall near the staircase.
  • Bedroom 3 – 10-feet-5-inches by 14-feet-0-inches: Located at the rear right of the second floor. A window is positioned along the rear wall. The bedroom includes a closet along the right side of the room.
  • Bath 2: Centrally located between Bedroom 2 and Bedroom 3. The bathroom includes a tub and shower combination, toilet, and double-bowl vanity. The toilet and tub shower combination is separated by a doorway from the double sink area. It is accessed from the second-floor hallway.
  • Second-Floor Hall: The central hallway connects all three bedrooms and Bath 2. The turned staircase opens into this hall from the main level.

Basement Included Features

  • Unfinished Basement: The basement is accessed by the interior staircase near the center-left side of the main level. The standard basement provides unfinished space for storage, utilities, and future use.
  • Unfinished Storage: Located toward the front left portion of the basement, adjacent to the staircase.
  • Unfinished Utility Area: Located toward the rear and right side of the basement. This area remains unfinished and accommodates home utility equipment.
  • Egress Window Well: A 4-foot by 4-foot egress window well is located along the rear wall of the basement.

Basement Optional Features

  • Optional Finished Basement: A portion of the basement can be finished to create a recreation room. The finished area occupies the rear left portion of the basement and extends toward the staircase.
  • Optional Bathroom – Bath 3: An optional full bathroom can be added beside the finished recreation area. Bath 3 includes a tub and shower combination, toilet, and sink.
