We all have an idea of our perfect dream home. For some of us, a cozy bungalow in a tightly-knit neighborhood is the epitome of the American dream. For others, a remote location with acres of land with no one in site is ideal. For many, the answer is balance. Not too close to town, not too far away from it. Not too much land, but not too little.
For those individuals, our upcoming Blackburn Heights community will provide plenty of options. The neighborhood is uniquely situated in two distinct areas, Ohio Township and Franklin Park. Each offers its own school district, Avonworth and North Allegheny School Districts, respectively. Read More→

Hagerstown, Maryland. It may not be the first city that comes to mind for DC or Baltimore commuters, but this gem of a town packs a pretty big punch for the area. Unlike its more expensive suburban counterparts, the city features some of the same amenities you find closer to DC without the expense.
Well known for being home to the popular Hagerstown Premium Outlets, many who aren’t from the region may not realize it is also a cultural hub for fans of the arts or museums. For example, you can catch a performance of the Maryland Symphony at the Maryland Theatre which boasts one of the most beautiful and ornate classic theatres on the eastern seaboard. Or perhaps enjoy the scenery at the Hagerstown City Park, ranked #1 as the most beautiful city park by EscapeHere.com. The kiddos won’t miss out either since the city boasts the local favorite, Discovery Station, a hands-on interactive children’s museum and even a train museum and aviation museum. Read More→

Low and behold, only one week remains until the anticipated grand opening of our new Peachmont Farms community! The event will be held on Saturday, August 29 at our Kingsridge model home located at 102 Olivia Avenue in Mars, PA. Peachmont Farms will offer Butler County’s most affordable custom homes in a tranquil, country-like setting. Despite its peaceful backdrop, this new community is located just 15 minutes from Cranberry Township’s best shopping like Cranberry Commons and is just a stone’s throw from Routes 8 and 228.
What makes this neighborhood so different from the rest is that it combines the best of both Allegheny and Butler Counties. Because it is mere minutes from Mars, PA and Route 228, those living in Peachmont Farms will have the same convenience and accessibility to the area’s largest employers and most traveled roadways like I-79 and I-76, just like their Allegheny County counterparts. However, the affordability offered in Butler County, combined with low county taxes, offers a much more attainable price point than nearby Wexford and Pine-Richland communities. The lower taxes and lower prices afford anyone considering building a custom home substantially more bang for their buck without sacrificing. In fact, custom homes start from the low $300,000s, and house hunters are able to choose from one and two-story homes. Read More→

Making mistakes on the home selling front can be surprisingly easy and, more importantly, costly! Here are some tips to guarantee you get what you deserve in your home. Read More→

For instance, the 25 ton sand sculpture that will emerge as the festival unfolds, the Italian Street Painting that will be held on Heister Street, the dozens of bands that perform on the Old Main Lawn and even BookFest, a celebration of books old and new that even include visits from authors and speakers.
